Horton of Philadelphia, PA; sons, Larry Horton (Gloria) of Wake Forest and Lamar Horton of Woodbridge, VA; brother, Roland Harris of Chapel Hill; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Our earthly chain has been diminished by another link with the home-going of our classmate and schoolmate, Ms. Janie Harris Horton, but, our Heavenly chain has been increased by one. Our sympathies to her brother, Mr. Roland Harris and the remaining members of her family. We pray that you will find solace in knowing that we are standing nearby if needed, now or in the future. News Story: I have received several calls and e-mails from members stating that they are not receiving correspondance from the Alumni Association. Please go to the Members Only module and select the option for maintaining classmates and update the e-mail, telephone numbers and address of your classmates so that we will have accurate information. In addition, we are in dire need to be able to identify contact persons for our deceased members

Title: Raffle Tickets
News Story: The NC 54 West Community Reunion Committee members are selling raffle tickets for a 32" Flat Screen TV. Please call Ms. Jennie Foushee @ (919-942-3852) for details. The tickets are $5.00 each. Drawing will be held 7/17/10 at The Jo Mack Road Lodge off Hickory Grove/Bethel Baptist Church Road. A celebration cook-out to follow.
