Title: Athletic Banquet - Thrill On The Hill
News Story: Your Alumni Association is anxiously looking forward to seeing all former athletes, representatives and family members at our Athletic Banquet. The Alumni Association will have a recognition banquet for all individuals, both male and female who played sports at either O.C.T.S or Lincoln High School. This event will be held at the gorgeous Radisson Hotel in the Research Triangle Park on Friday, July 2, 2010 starting at six o’clock in the evening. The price for admission is fifty dollars per person. Remember that all members who have paid their dues for the fiscal year have a credit of at least $30.00 for this joyous affair. Please be aware that seating is limited and will be based on a first pay basis. You may also send an athlete your best wishes by placing an ad in our souvenir booklet. If you Have any old photos or newspaper articles to submit to our colorful souvenir booklet. The Radisson will be the official hotel for the Athletic Banquet for those needing lodging arrangements. The contact number for reservations is: (919) 549-8631. Please call the hotel to make room reservations and payments. The Radisson is offering the members of O.C.T.S. a block of rooms at the rate of $69.00. Make sure you let the hotel clerk know you are with the O.C.T.S.—Lincoln High—Northside Alumni Association. Our Thrill On The Hill Cookout will take place at The American Legion on Saturday, July, 03, 2010 from three in the afternoon until seven in the evening. The American Legion is located on Legion Road in Chapel Hill behind The Sheraton Hotel. There will be all types of food, fun for the young and the “young at heart”. There is a nominal fee of twenty dollars ($20) per person (ages 13 and up) and five dollars ($5) per person (ages 12 and under).

Title: Alumni Meeting
News Story: On Wednesday, 16 June 2010 we want all of you to please attend the Alumni Association Full Body Meeting so that we can plan our first ever Athletic Banquet for our awesome and outstanding athletes and the 50th Graduation Anniversary for the Class of 1960. These events are to take place on Friday and Saturday, July 2 & 3, 2010. It is crucial that as many of our athletes as possible come to this meeting. We need and want your input about this banquet. We want it to be the best banquet ever. Your recognition is long overdue! It is also the 50th graduation anniversary for the Class of 1960 and we need as many of you as possible to attend this meeting,too. Plans need to be made for both events and we need and want your input, too. Please bring all sports and graduation newspaper articles, clippings and personal and/or newspaper photos. David will take great care of them. He needs to scan them for programs for both events. He will make sure that your property is returned to you in the same condition that they were when he received them. We are quite excited about both of these events and your input will ensure that they are successful. The meeting will be held in the First Baptist Church Annex at 10:00 a.m. Hope to see you then.

Title: Food Selling
News Story: Saint Joseph Church, located on 510 West Rosemary Street Chapel Hill is having a food selling on Friday, June 25, 2010 stating at 11:00am. The menu consists of fried fish and chicken, two vegetables and dessert. The selling will last until all food is sold.
